    1. MPM: I think they're both fantastic, personally. Haven't seen a single episode, US or UK version, that was boring. But I do think people find things more funny if they have some kind of personal connection to the subject. Seeing events you learned about in class or read in books, or that happened in a familiar location adds a lot to the humor.
